Our engineering team is heavily involved in the development of technical solutions, advanced tooling and manufacturing support, prototype development and validation, and supporting our in-house prototyping lab.
Point Innovation is licensed by the Texas Board of Professional Engineers. Our CAD work is done primarily in SolidWorks and Pro/Engineer Creo-based mechanical design, the two most widely-used 3D design software packages. Working in tandem with our designers, the engineering team develops a new or enhanced product that spans every phase of the product lifecycle, from the client’s initial concept through design, testing for manufacturability, and prototyping. We fully leverage our combined teams’ multi-disciplinary abilities and expertise to produce powerful creative thinking and generate unique perspectives.

Our rapid prototyping and 3D printing service is designed to quickly produce functional prototypes with high levels of accuracy. We employ a variety of techniques using commercial and industrial grade equipment and tools. Our prototypes are designed to test functionality and can be used for concept validation, usability testing, and more. We also specialize in full-scale prototyping that can be used to test for product performance and durability. Our team of experts are highly experienced in all aspects of rapid prototyping and 3D printing and are committed to delivering exceptional results for each and every one of our clients.
